Moira Moser & Wendy Leung in the spotlight at BritCham forum

M Moser Associates provided no less than two of the six keynote speakers at a recent business forum organised by the British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong.

Speaking at the March 30 event were Moira Moser, the Founder and Chairman of M Moser Associates, and Wendy Leung, a Director at M Moser who currently heads the company’s offices in Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Taipei plus a design team in Hong Kong.

In keeping with the forum’s ‘Women in Business’ theme, both presentations offered the 150-strong audience at Guangzhou’s Sapphire Art Space a personal view of women in the corporate design industry. Moira related her experience of founding M Moser Associates in 1981 and nurturing its growth over 30 years to become a global organisation of 12 offices.

Wendy Leung shared insights into the close collaborative relationship between design teams in the three offices she leads as well as observations on how M Moser’s integrated design, engineering and construction capabilities have expanded to support China’s growing business sector. Her presentation included a visual journey through how the workplace has evolved to support increasingly sophisticated technologies, habits and patterns of work in the region.
