M Moser Associates is looking for an energetic, ambitious go-getting to join their Shanghai office in a Client Services Manager position. The ideal candidate will be someone who not afraid to make waves, who is inspired and who is willing to push the boundaries to uncover creative new business leads. What Is The Job?

The role of the Client Services Manager is crucial to the growth of our business. The primary functions of the Client Services Manager are to generate new business opportunities; nurture strong relationships with existing clients; and strengthen and promote the M Moser brand.

Specific job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Generating New Leads: Identifying, pursuing and appealing to M Moser's target clients
  • Market Research: Gathering and analyzing market and industry intelligence, metrics, and trends to determine opportunities for new business
  • Courting Perspective Clients: Following up on business opportunities; setting up meetings; proposing, organizing and executing various marketing initiatives
  • Earning the Clients Trust: Establishing and proactively maintaining strong professional relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the local market
  • Capturing Projects: Prepare and deliver presentations that offer insights and ideas that clients and others have overlooked
  • Working with Project Team Members: Capture projects and assist with managing the client throughout the work, acting as a confidant and life-line that they trust and can turn to
  • Networking with Industry Professionals: Represent and promote the firm and it's values by attending and participating in industry related events
Who Are You?

As the Client Services Manager with M Moser Associates, you will be a mature self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset. You be self-reflective with an eagerness to learn. You will be persistent yet professional with a strong sense of integrity. You will have exceptional people and communication skills with the ability and desire to build and maintain new relationships.

As the successful Client Services Manager, you will also have the following Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration or similar, preferred
  • 3 or more years of working experience in a Business Development, Client Services or Marketing role, preferably in a front line position
  • Interest and knowledge of the interior design, architecture, and construction industry
  • Professional approach with the ability to build relationships, qualify prospects, generate leads, and identify new business development
  • Experience in negotiation and closing contracts
  • Confidence in speaking with high level executives and delivering presentations/proposals
  • Demonstrated ability to work both entrepreneurially and collaboratively with a team
  • Amazing communication skills in Chinese and English, both written and spoken
