What Is The Job?

M Moser is looking for a Designer to be based in San Francisco who will support a team of architects, interior designers, and contractors in the design and delivery of medium to large scale workplace transformation projects

As the successful Designer, your job will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Work side-by-side as a team with clients to solve complex problems.
  • Brainstorm with our in-house strategic planners to consider new solutions that address cultural opportunities in each project and redefine our understanding of every day programs such as workplace, retail, and hospitality.
  • Translate programmatic opportunities into unique concepts for architecture and interior design.
  • Well-versed in various design tools including but not limited to Revit, AutoCad, SketchUp, Rhino.
  • Ability to compose and coordinate sets of deliverables through all phases of projects; for client review, cost estimation, and permit requirements per local jurisdiction.
  • Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to share design and construction expertise in order to create inventive, well-crafted environments.
  • Work as an integral member of design/build teams, participating in concept development, design documentation, and through construction administration.

You will also have the following Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Ideally 3 - 6 years of experience in workplace interior design or architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Design or other related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), inDesign
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with an excellent ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exemplary skills in dealing with people, able to work with and manage teams
  • Action-oriented, driven towards results
  • Able to prioritize effectively and thrive in a fast-moving, deadline driven environment
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to change priorities quickly
  • Able to work entrepreneurially
  • Able to communicate and work effectively with senior leadership and members of our global team
  • Able to move from small project to big picture perspective in order to develop a holistic strategy geared toward design deliverables
