Project Manager - Workplace Interiors

M Moser Associates’ office in Taipei is growing and we are looking for a Project Manager with corporate workplace interior design experience to come join the M Moser family supporting both our local and global teams of architects and designers in the delivery of some of the most advanced workplaces in the world.

Position Overview

M Moser Associates is an international firm of architects and interior designers specializing in designing and building corporate office and other work facilities. We have offices all over the world including Taipei, across South east Asia, as well as London, UK and North America.

Our approach is holistic and highly collaborative. As M Moser’s successful Project Manager - Corporate Interior Design, your primary job will be to manage key client projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within-scope.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Liaise with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
  • Adapt plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
  • Travel regularly to building sites, proposed locations, and client meetings

Skills, Attitudes and Qualifications

As M Moser Associates’ Project Manager - Corporate Interior Design you are exceptionally driven and organized in your thinking with a knack for digging into a problem to find its solution. You are a great multi-tasker with an eye for the details who works well under pressure and never misses a deadline. As our Project Manager - Corporate Interior Design, you will be looking for a start-up opportunity with an established global company.

To be successful, our Project Manager - Corporate Interior Design will require the following skills and experiences:

  • 5 years+ of experience managing corporate interior projects in the Taiwan market
  • Solid knowledge of workplace/interior practices
  • A track record for successfully delivering projects that involve a high degree of change and complexity
  • Experience managing projects from conceptualization to completion
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin are a must
  • Good leadership capability, ability to work collaboratively with team, as well as oversight and mentoring of junior staff.
  • Strong ability in managing fees, schedules and staffing
