Position Overview

As a Senior Workplace Designer with M Moser Associates you will play a key role in advancing our design solutions and generating new ideas for projects while maintaining enthusiasm about achieving client’s business goals. It will be your job to lead concept designs and storytelling to define new experiences and opportunities for M Moser’s clients. From here you will work in tandem  with our design teams of
architects, interior designers and contractors through all project stages into design documentation and construction administration.

Primary Responsibilities

As the Senior Workplace Designer you will be expected to:

  • Prepare, deliver and win design presentation opportunities for new medium- large sized projects on a consistent basis
  • Lead concept design and storytelling with a cross disciplinary team to define new experiences and opportunities for our clients
  • Brainstorm with in-house strategic planners to consider new solutions that address cultural opportunities in each project and redefine our understanding of every day paradigms
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers to develop client solutions and solve complex problems
  • Interface consistently and proactively with clients to ensure a smooth project delivery from inception to closure
  • Establish and maintain a high level of trust between the project team, client and other project stakeholders
  • Supervises the work and progress of Design team drawings, studies, specifications and other project tasks on multiple projects
  • Mentor and coach junior designers to enhance teamwork and skill-building
  • Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to share design and construction expertise in order to create inventive, well-crafted environments
  • Perform additional responsibilities necessary to help achieve business and/or project goals

  • 10+ years of experience in workplace interior design or architecture
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design or other related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign
  • A portfolio of signature conceptual design work, including several large-scale workplace transformation projects

  • Knowledge of local codes and permitting
