Job Overview

As a Designer with M Moser Associates, it is your job to lead concept design and storytelling with our cross disciplinary team of architects, engineers, designers, strategists and other gifted professionals to define new experiences and opportunities for M Moser’s clients.
As an integral member of our Project Team, you will take a lead role in the pre-schematic design process, partnering closely with Senior Designers to create enchanting, intuitive and effective, one-of-a-kind design solutions that win clients' business! You will actively participate in client interviews and will become a trusted confidant for clients once the work is won through to the end of the project lifecycle.
As the project moves into design development, you will leverage your close relationship with the client and your exceptional detailing skills to help guide the design team in the delivery of the physical, social and digital environments that enable the business transformations of global organizations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Participating in project teams and with other consultants to uncover
    integrated, innovative, and interdisciplinary solutions to design problems
  • Consulting with clients to establish design concepts and parameters,
    including how space will function, budget considerations, and aesthetic
  • Generating conceptual designs using a variety of graphic techniques,
    including hand-drawn and computer-generated visuals, and work with
    Project/Cost Manager to prepare preliminary cost estimates
  • Presenting design concepts to team members and clients for approval
  • Preparing written specifications, working drawings, and construction
    documents, including verification that designs meet applicable building codes
    where necessary
  • Delivering and winning design presentation opportunities for new medium
    sized projects on a regular basis
  • Guiding the work and progress of Design team drawings, studies,
    specifications and other project tasks on multiple projects
  • Establishing and maintaining trust between the project team, client and other
    project stakeholders
  • Monitoring and maintaining a high level of design quality within the project
  • Problem-solving project design issues and applying inventive solutions

  • Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in interior design and architecture with a focus on workplace projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design or other related field
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign
  • A portfolio of signature conceptual design work, including at least 2 or 3 workplace transformation projects
  • English and Mandarin and/or Taiwanese language fluency

  • Must have experience and confidence in delivering design pitches to corporate clients
  • Ability to maintain design integrity from design concept to on-site construction
  • Effectively contribute to multiple projects at the same time
  • Knowledge of local codes and permitting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
