M Moser Associates New York has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workplace Strategist to lead clients and partner with our Design & Project Teams to create and deliver transformative workplace experiences.

Job Overview

As a Workplace Strategist, you become a key member of M Moser Associates Strategy Team

M Moser Associates strategy arm of the business offers consulting services in strategic workplace planning and occurs in tandem with our design process so that our strategists and designers leverage each other’s strengths and talents to develop workplace strategy and design solutions that are relevant and progressively functional, with an ever-watchful focus on the craftsmanship needed to deliver the end product

Partnering with a multidisciplinary group, it will be your job as our Workplace Strategist to observe, assess and address our clients’ workplaces and their functionality. You will come up with innovative and thoughtful workplace strategies by reviewing of our clients’ portfolio against their industry competitors and assessing the client’s current and future needs. You will then communicate your recommendations on concepts, designs and delivery of workplace projects to both client and project teams, all with the objective of improving design quality, workplace performance, and ensuring alignment with our client’s business goals

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with Design Team in the generation of strategies that address clients’ workplace concerns
  • Lead the strategy efforts on projects, confidently managing client expectations and decision making
  • Provide recommendations with respect to workplace planning, design, architecture, wellness and sustainability
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to develop occupancy plans and planning studies
  • Prepare findings and briefs that translate large quantities of information into concise and visual recommendations
  • Research and analyze global shifts and trends in work behaviors to develop and improve recommendations with respect to the physical, digital and social workplaces
  • Take initiative to research the development and application of new tools that assess, measure and enhance performance and related human/organizational topics
  • Support business development efforts by providing materials demonstrating the value-add strategy brings to the firm’s efforts

Successful Candidate Profile

As M Moser Associates’ Workplace Strategist it is essential that you are comfortable with uncertainty on not knowing the answer and never jumping to conclusions. You are someone with a knack for knowing the right questions to ask then actively listening as our clients’ tell us their answers, without “leading the witness”, so to speak. You take the perspective that the work environment is a powerful communication tool and business resources and are constantly looking at how we can positively impact our clients’ business operations though our work.

Our Strategists are eager to collaborate with the teams while equally appreciating independent entrepreneurial work. The ability to be fact and data driven while also being able to speculate is a rare and valued quality in someone looking to be successful in workplace strategy. Qualifications & Key Competencies

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field
  • •4+ years’ relevant experience
  • •CCMP certification is an advantage
  • •Knowledgeable in areas of Organizational Analysis; Human Behaviors Analysis; Data Analysis; Strategic Planning & Alignment; Change Management
  • •Understanding of space densities and density planning
  • •Comfortable with technology for virtual collaboration and mobile work
  • Excellent oral and written communication, strong interpersonal and influencing skills, customer service driven, detail oriented and with excellent analytical skills
