M Moser Chairman Moira Moser receives Fellowship from American Institute of Architects
The 64th Convention of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) was especially significant for M Moser Associates as Moira Moser, its founder and chairman, was formally inducted to the AIA’s College of Fellows during a special ceremony held at the event.
Entitled ‘Building Leaders’, the June 20-22nd convention held in Denver, Colorado offered a diverse programme of exhibitions, speeches, seminars and other activities catering to the professional development of AIA’s 80,000 members from around the globe. This year, Moira was one of just 122 AIA members elevated to Fellowship, bestowed only on AIA members who have made notable contributions to the profession and the industry.
As M Moser’s Chairman, Moira has played a leading role in developing the practice in four key areas recognised by the AIA: global practice with IPD, technology-enabled collaboration, sustainability, and diversity. The firm’s achievements in these areas form the basis of its integrated approach to designing, planning, engineering and building its clients’ projects.
“Becoming a Fellow in an organisation like the AIA is a source of great pride for me, and a tremendous milestone for all of us as a company. It’s a very gratifying endorsement of what we’ve been doing for these last 32 years,” said Moser.
