Dr Christine Bruckner shares Citi Hong Kong’s WELL practice at Greenbuild China Conference
On October 24th 2018 M Moser Director, Dr Christine Bruckner, and Citi’s Head of Realty Services Hong Kong, Duncan Macintyre, presented at the Greenbuild China 2018 Conference. The joint presentation was developed by the International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI™), whose Vice President Jack Guo led the introduction and closing remarks.
Centred on the WELL Building Standard that promotes wellness through design, the presentation introduced key WELL concepts and successful workplace implementation, taking Citi Tower One Bay East in Hong Kong as an example.
The M Moser-designed Citi Hong Kong office is the first WELL v1 Certified space in Hong Kong. Its aspirational workplace strategies have also been combined with Certification from LEED and RESET green building standards.
This industry-leading workspace consolidates 38 business units and 3,000 staff members from five leased buildings into one new, flexible and integrated space. Its office interior exemplifies the firm’s commitment to putting employee wellness and sustainability first.
“Comfort has a wide spectrum”, shares Dr Bruckner. “Excellent design helps to de-stress, lets employees perform at their best and provides comfort, both physically and mentally.”
Using the WELL Building Standard as a guide, Citi’s Hong Kong office takes a special approach to enhance workplace health and comfort in seven key areas, including air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind.
