India's first NBA experience centre featured in Architectural Digest
Celebrating a fast-growing audience of 17 million in India, the National Basketball Association (NBA) selected M Moser to design and build a new office and experience centre in Mumbai – the first of its kind in the country. Featured by Architectural Digest, this newly-opened 6,000 sq. ft space provides an authentic and immersive experience that fosters stronger connections between the basketball association and its loyal fans in the region.
The new work environment combines an office space for staff and an Experiential Zone to host events, drawing inspiration from the league’s historic past and current team divisions. These elements are well balanced throughout the space using a mix of memorabilia, fan wear products, graphics and digital installations to reflect the values of the popular sport within a socially-engaging space.
Designed to adapt to the ever-changing nature of the league, the new NBA centre in Mumbai is set to offer memorable and unique experiences for its people: “The idea is to offer a behind-the-scenes experience to even a few of the 17 million fans in India,” says Siddharth Chury, Associate Vice President of Global Partnerships at NBA India. “Coming here would be a money-can’t-buy time for an authentic fan.”
