Sharing pioneering virtual design methods with the Singapore Institute of Architects

On 29th May, Organisational Development team members Persie Yang and Jeanette Lim were invited to speak at an industry workshop hosted by the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) and ACA Pacific. The two shared key workplace design accomplishments and best practice using M Moser’s unique Open BIM methods and tools.

The traditional design process involves three key phases; 2D drawing, 3D modelling and rendering. However, the M Moser approach prioritises 3D design tools from the outset to enhance communication and enable efficient collaboration. This enables virtual construction and provides a clearer indication of cost, while optimising value for clients”, highlighted Yang and Lim.

Attendees from across the design community shared feedback on the session, highlighting how integrated project delivery is not only “more efficient and can achieve more than traditional BIM”, but “seamlessly integrates technology into the design process”.

“M Moser’s session was a true inspiration to attendees, encouraging people to rethink the design tools and other advanced technologies used to develop projects,” says Karen Chong, Product Business Manager at ACA Pacific. “The approach goes above and beyond to provide a more collaborative experience and service for partners. We thank M Moser for sharing its unique perspective.”
