Dyson and Moser AIA Awards

The AIA International honours our work with Dyson on its global headquarters with three International Design Awards. This Singapore project transformed the historic St James Power Station into a human-centred, sustainable campus for innovation and business growth.

During the awards ceremony, a representative from Dyson, along with M Moser project representatives, Addy Walcott and Jet Brillantes, and Head of Europe, Charlie Millard, received the Interior Architectural Design Excellence Awards in three categories:

  • Honor Award for Interior Architecture
  • Sustainable Future Award
  • Inaugural IDEA (Inclusive Design Excellence Award)

Dyson Global Headquarters’ design superbly transforms a coal-fired power station into a sustainable, inspiring working environment and serves as a role model for the future of architectural excellence and planetary responsibility. It exemplifies design excellence at all levels, from material selection, life cycle analysis, inclusive design, and Dyson’s innovative engineering values.

One of the key project leads, Associate Director, Addy Walcott, shared insight into the journey of co-creating this unique office design to inspire and support employees innovating future technologies. A team effort that delivers on Dyson’s business needs while respecting the existing heritage architecture.

In a building originally meant for machines, M Moser helped Dyson reinvent it for people and ultimately create a space that powers the company’s global expansion, development and innovation.

Inclusion and sustainability are at the heart of this design. Leveraging smart technologies, biophilic elements, inclusive amenities and energy reduction strategies, it brings to life a human-centric, sustainable workspace that ensures an inclusive experience for all and advances Dyson’s carbon net-zero goals.
