China team at AIA award ceremony

Praised for its innovative and patient-centred design approach by the jury, our work with Sightour Ophthalmic Hospital in Hangzhou received a Citation Award in the ‘Interior Architecture’ category from the American Institutes of Architects (AIA) Shanghai | Beijing chapter. Announced in its 2020 Design Awards program, this marks our second AIA award for healthcare design in the last two years.

This recognition proves the efficacy of M Moser’s expertise in designing patient-centric spaces.

Jessica Liu - Director, Healthcare

Leveraging the site’s location along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, our design concept blends aspects of the site’s heritage with a futuristic look and feel. As Sightour’s first hospital in China, this milestone facility combines nature with modern techniques to provide a safe environment for patient diagnosis and treatment, serving as a robust support for the organisation’s visionary practice.
