M Moser Associates recognises that it has the ultimate legal responsibility for ensuring that the Modern Slavery Act 2015 is adhered to. We already implement effective policies, which ensure that our employees are safe and as a business are committed to continual improvement in terms of working environments, incentive reward schemes and the health, safety and well-being of all who work for us.<\/p>\n
All of our direct employees are stringently checked to ensure that they are fully compliant with all legislation relating to their right to work in the UK. This includes obtaining the relevant visas for any non \u2013 EU employees, as well as ensuring that all employees are not victims of modern slavery or human\u00a0trafficking.<\/p>\n
We consistently monitor and measure the performance of our suppliers and contractors and expect to see documentation supporting training and competence from all our workforce. Our working sites are regularly audited to ensure employees are working within a safe environment, and we ensure set working hours are in place to protect those who work for us – along with implementing other policies such as lone working. Regular training is provided relevant to job role to ensure staff are well equipped to perform to the best of their abilities, and on-site training is offered regularly to maintain standards and ensure overall safety of all employees.<\/p>\n
M Moser Associates will work to update existing procedures, such as our pre-qualification questionnaire, which is distributed to all our subcontractors, to include specific prohibitions against the use of forced or trafficked labour or any deviance from the Modern Slavery Act 2015.<\/p>\n
We understand that we cannot always control the actions of other companies or suppliers, but will aim to engage with our suppliers to convey our Anti-slavery Policy and gain a better understanding of how they, in turn, ensure slavery is not occurring within their own business model.<\/p>\n
The directors accept overall responsibility for this policy formulation and implementation. In turn, all levels of management and all supervisory staff are responsible for reporting any form of misconduct or suspicions they may have concerning any of our workers or supply chain. This is achieved through active monitoring and review, as well as commitment to the continuing improvement of health and safety performance.<\/p>\n
This policy statement is communicated to the entire workforce via email, notice boards and here on our website. The company actively encourages participation in all matters relating to this Act and appropriate action will be taken should any breaches be recorded.<\/p>\n
