Sharing the impact of change management and wellness design with facilities experts
How do you translate and align the vision of leadership throughout a workplace transformation project? What’s the most effective way to obtain the support of senior management and ensure the project is delivered on time at every phase? How can you secure the trust of staff and engage them to optimise occupancy results?
On August 7th, these questions were put under the spotlight at an industry workshop focused on, “Turning pain points into the staff’s favourite’s: How to engage staff through change management”, which was co-hosted by the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Shanghai Chapter, Covestro’s Shanghai office and M Moser Associates.
Following a space tour of the facility and a brief introduction led by IFMA, M Moser’s Fanny Sun shared the recent practice of devising and implementing change management programs to support Covestro’s workplace transformation.
Jia Cai, Senior Manager – Sustainability Advisory, shared how integrating change management with wellness design during a project’s five-phase life cycle can enhance staff buy-in. Shedding light on wellness engagement programs, Cai explained how staff empowerment can facilitate the adoption of new office policies, including mobile and activity-based working practices.
Following M Moser’s sharing, Julia Xiang, Head of President Office and Office Management at Covestro, explored best practice in office management and operations. Joined by Cai and Sun, Xiang also answered an array of audience questions from professionals across the office management and facility management functions of large to mid-sized multi-national and Chinese businesses.
