Taking part in the UK's first Mental Health World Cup

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, a team from our London office took part in the UK’s first Mental Health World Cup at QPR’s Loftus Road Stadium. The event raised money for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), supporting their continued work in suicide prevention and awareness.

With suicide being the biggest killer of men under 50 and construction highlighted as the sector most at risk, it was a great opportunity to raise funds and awareness for the charity,” shared team captain Rob Hicklin, Head of Visualisation in London.

This tournament proved to be a great way to get people talking about mental health and the risk suicide poses. Reaching the 400 attendees and hundreds of thousands of others through social media, the tournament not only helped to raise awareness, but a grand sum of over £42,000”, shared the event organiser.
