Receiving a “Leadership Award” for professional excellence from CE Worldwide
Reema Bhandari, recently received a “Leadership Award” for professional excellence from CE Worldwide at the 112th Procurement, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, Facilities Management & 2019 South Leadership Award Summit in Bangalore.
Senior fraternity members, the jury and senior management at CE Worldwide recognised professionals from across the industry.
Bhandari was also involved in a panel discussion on global design guidelines, highlighting the importance of addressing local culture when delivering impactful workplace solutions.
“It’s imperative for global firms to accommodate local influences rather than build all of their offices exactly the same across the globe. Creating a workspace that staff can relate to is important for attracting and retaining top talent,” said Bhandari.
Addressing the importance of branding, she expressed a need for office design to reflect the community. Colour choices, materials selection, space allocation, privacy levels and sustainability were also outlined as key influences on real estate and space solutions at a regional level.
Emphasising the gravity of understanding cultural influences and their impact as well as the challenges and opportunities associated with each location, Bhandari shared, “A successful strategy depends on creating spaces and guidelines that are flexible”.
