Raquel Sachser on post-COVID-19 workplace amenities in Work Design Magazine
Work Design Magazine interviews Raquel Sachser, Associate Director - Design, based in New York, on “Addressing Workplace Amenities Post-COVID-19”.
Emphasising the importance of investing in physical safety, Sachser highlights both the short and long term implications. “Offices built with construction materials that are inherently antimicrobial will become more commonplace”, she shares. She also highlights a move towards using technology that reduces physical touch in common areas and increasing access to hygiene products.

We should also expect to see a huge uptick in demand for mental health and wellness amenities. “While we’re living in an ambiguous time with an uncertain future, we can still try to be as prepared as possible. Setting up strategies now will help us all feel more safe and comfortable when we once again venture out into the world and return to work”, she shares.
