Saatchi & Saatchi,
M Moser assisted Saatchi & Saatchi with evaluations of densification strategy to consolidate their business units into one floor by utilising an open floor plan, which allowed for a series of collaborative spaces. The overall goal was to achieve a new space that was edgy, modern and fitting of their creative brand.
To achieve the densification and hierarchy flattening, M Moser removed all executive offices and moved the C-suite executives into the open office plan. A wide variety of break out spaces and activated circulation areas inspires staff to work and interact casually and creatively. Shared conference rooms and meeting areas are dispersed along the perimeter to provide acoustic privacy and balance the layout.
Letting the space tell the story
The Saatchi & Saatchi office space illustrates a cohesive brand realisation by keeping the space as neutral as possible, giving the end-users ample opportunity to pin up creative work in process. The neutral palette allows the agency’s work to be the focal point of the design, letting their projects shine. Many design decisions were a collaborative effort between M Moser and the Saatchi & Saatchi creative team, creating moments in the space that share the brand. For example, the space incorporates a prominent design feature, the Saatchi & Saatchi ampersand wall mural which is composed of objects that individually tell the brand’s story.
