At Dubai Design Week 2026, visitors can take part in Resonance, a live audio-visual installation that turns signals from their brain into an evolving artwork.
Running from 3rd to 8th November 2026, the interactive experience explores how people respond differently to sensory inputs.
As part of the experience, visitors wear an EEG headset that picks up live signals from the brain. These signals are translated into colour, sound and movement, creating a visual composition that changes throughout the experience.
The changing composition affects the surrounding environment, with the visitor responding to what they see and hear. Their response then influences how the experience develops, creating a feedback loop between the visitor, the installation and the space around them.
Resonance uses the headset’s signals as a creative input, so each visitor has a different experience. There is no right or wrong response. Instead, the installation gives people a way to experience how differently we can respond to sensory input.

By turning live brain signals into a unique artwork, the installation celebrates our differences. This thinking informs our wider work on cognitive diversity and sensory design. The more we understand people’s experience of their surroundings, the better we can design spaces to meet a diverse range of needs.
Join us at Building 4, Dubai Design District. If you’re driving, park at D3 Parking, then follow the signs to Building 4 and walk along D3 Street to the entrance.
Coming by taxi or ride-hailing service? Ask to be dropped at the D3 Street entrance to Building 4.

Resonance entrance on the D3 Street side of Building 4 Since its launch, more than 1,500 people have experienced Resonance at London Design Festival, GLUE Amsterdam, the opening of M Moser’s new London office and CoreNet Sydney.
The team will continue exploring how the concept could extend beyond audio-visual interaction into other sensory experiences and environmental variables.
