Hewlett Packard Enterprise,
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)’s first Demo Centre in Beijing uses interactive and dynamic design to showcase various advanced technology solutions.
Capturing the company’s core values of smart process, sustainability and well-being, the space is conceptualised as an experience of the brand and company vision. M Moser’s approach was to prioritise flexibility and dynamism to create a personalised, interactive and unique experience for clients.
Flexible space inspired by a strong corporate identity
Creating a future flexible space that can adapt to meet HPE’s shifting technology needs was a key factor in the design thinking for the space.
To expand on an understanding of HPE’s business values, the M Moser team developed a number of words to conceptualise the space: practicality, fluidity, emotion, interactivity and engagement.
“Incorporating creative design thinking, our first Demo Centre in Beijing is not only a display platform for our advanced products and technologies, but creates a unique, interactive experience for all visitors.”

A striking, interactive experience
Upon entrance to the Demo Centre, visitors are greeted by a striking interior that seamlessly guides the visitor towards various products and technology solution displays.
The M Moser team worked together closely with HPE to develop a vibrant, flexible program that divides the Demo Centre into multiple zones, catering to the unique businesses. We integrated the latest technology such as interactive touch displays, immersive lighting and a fully functioning data centre to into the design to support HPE’s high-tech solutions.

Putting technology at the core
Creating additional space that conforms to the rest of the design, for open-ended display areas, designated display tables was key to addressing HPE’s future needs. Not only is technology showcased in an engaging way, but it addresses practicality and usability. Designing space to suit the digital content and the user experience is what drives the fluid, digital nature of this Demo Centre.
An illuminated journey
To enhance and adapt the mood of the space, organic lighting is used as a feature that is interchanged throughout the space, through a variety of modes and colours. The concept was based on the perception of a rainy window view of the cityscape that blurs and shifts the senses, pulling users through the space. As lighting changes, so does the personalised experience, which provides the adaptability to suit different client types and visitors.
Ultimately, HPE’s Demo Centre provides a space envisioning the future, by accommodating a unique, interactive experience in line with HPE’s business objectives.
