Having successfully partnered with Milliken on projects across North America and Asia-Pacific, and after completing its London showroom, M Moser was appointed to design and deliver the flooring manufacturer’s first showroom in mainland Europe.
A natural flow of circulation
Situated in an existing location in the 8th arrondissement, the brief was to transform a highly cellular environment to create a natural flow of circulation. The original architectural details from the Haussmann period of this typical Parisian building carefully complement Milliken’s collections.
Capturing local and global identity
Reflecting the ongoing creative relationship between Milliken and M Moser, the Paris showroom required a twist of local and global identity. Taking inspiration from both the building and the brand, the design captures the bustle and light from the surrounding city through a series of interior vistas. These vistas connect the showroom to the exterior, simultaneously drawing correlation between the product and its environment.
Curating the user journey
Modular display systems throughout showcase Milliken’s products, making effective use of the irregular floorplate. The design celebrates the building’s original features, adding character to the user journey throughout.
A diverse visual experience
Presenting key collections and original design inspiration, the diverse range of displays have also been incorporated in vertical formats to house the company’s latest Luxury Vinyl Tile ranges.
The floor space doubles up as an exhibition area, with each room offering a diverse visual experience that evolves with new collections. As a working showroom, large central islands have been designed for exploring bespoke carpet solutions for projects.
